5.97MW Rooftop Project at Seraphim Anhui Factory Successfully Connected to the Grid
Date:May 07, 2025
April 28, a 5.97MW rooftop photovoltaic project invested in and developed by Seraphim was successfully connected to the grid and officially began operation, marking another milestone in Seraphim's green manufacturing.
Constructed on the rooftops of Seraphim Anhui factory's buildings, the project adopts a commercial and industrial (C&I) solar power model of “self-consumption with surplus power fed into the grid.” It features Seraphim’s high-efficiency Sable series 210mm TOPCon modules, which deliver up to 710W of output and offer outstanding reliability. The electricity is integrated into the factory’s power system via a dedicated 10kV line. From design and construction to equipment integration, the project was efficiently managed across the entire value chain—significantly increasing the factory’s use of renewable energy and accelerating its transition toward low-carbon, green production. With 9,291 tons of estimated CO2 reduction, it also contributes to the broader regional shift toward a cleaner energy structure.
Gary Feng, General Manager of Seraphim Anhui Factory, remarked: “As a company committed to ESG principles, we are not only dedicated to advancing clean energy production but also embed sustainability throughout our factory operations. During this project, our team demonstrated exceptional professionalism and determination—optimizing construction plans and allocating resources effectively to ensure that every phase was seamlessly executed. The successful grid connection marks a major milestone in our sustainability journey.”
The commissioning of the Seraphim Anhui rooftop project not only injects new momentum into the company’s pursuit of energy optimization and sustainable development but also lays a strong foundation for cost reduction, efficiency enhancement, and stable growth. Moreover, it serves as a concrete step in supporting China’s “dual-carbon” strategy of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. Looking ahead, Seraphim will continue to drive technological innovation and provide high-efficiency, low-carbon products—supporting the global transition to a cleaner and more sustainable energy system.
