GLBAL LARGEST ROOFTOP PLANT USING SHINGLED-CELL MODULES

Commissioned in January 2018, the global largest rooftop power plant using shingled-cell modules locates on the roof of Seraphim Changzhou factory. It is also the global largest rooftop project equipped with SolarEdge optimizers.
These 4615 pieces of Seraphim high efficiency shingled-cell modules, coupled with SolarEdge optimizers, has successfully realized module-level real-time monitoring, with 50% less cable used. In the meantime, the plant’s safety level has been improved with rapid shut-down system.
Once it’s commissioned, it could generate 2 million kWh electricity per year, which helps reduce 2334 tons of carbon emission. 90% of the generated electricity will be used domestically, meeting half of Seraphim’s annual electricity needs, while the rest 10% will be sold to the grid at CNY 1.2/kWh, bringing 2.5 million Yuan income to the company.
